Your computer is Window Service3 or higher and When running Mentor MKS Korn Shell, the message Forked child base mismatch: 1000000 2000000! is appear and then you must be re-run the Korn Shell for normal operation.
[Solution]
1. Click the MKS Korn Shell icon and run properties.
2. On the compatibility tab check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and set it Windows 2000.
