    PADS Translator precisely converts library data from existing ECAD tools into Siemens' PADS Library format. Data such as symbols, footprints, and part properties are kept consistent with the original during the conversion process, and can be used directly in the PADS design environment immediately after conversion.

    Parts Placement

    PADS Translator accurately transfers the completed component layout information from the existing design tool to the PADS format. It maintains the layout information and coordinates of the original design, allowing you to quickly proceed to the next step without additional layout adjustment work after conversion.

    Rule Application

    Design rules defined in your existing ECAD system, such as clearance, trace width, vias, and net classes, are converted and applied to the Siemens PADS Design Rule framework. Even the constraint data that does not appear on the drawing but serves as the basis for routing and fill is transferred together, so you can continue routing in a rule-satisfied state without having to set up or recheck the rules again.

    Routing & Fill
